06- Villa Sarchí Flor de Café White Honey
VILLA SARCHI
Villa Sarchi (also called La Luisa or Villalobos Bourbon) is a natural mutation of a Bourbon population with a single-gene mutation that causes the plant to grow smaller (called “Dwarf/Compactism’). The variety was discovered in Costa Rica in the 1950s or 1960s in the northwestern region of the province of Alajuela, and has subsequently undergone pedigree selection (selection of individual plants through successive generations) there.
A cherished Arabica coffee variety revered for its unique flavor profile and exceptional quality. Villa Sarchí is celebrated for its distinct characteristics that captivate coffee aficionados worldwide.
This varietal is distinguished by its bright acidity, medium body, and delightful sweetness, offering a harmonious balance that delights the senses. Villa Sarchí beans often boast flavor notes reminiscent of vibrant citrus, subtle floral undertones, and a lingering honey-like finish, creating a truly memorable drinking experience. Handpicked and expertly processed with care, our Villa Sarchí coffee beans exemplify the epitome of craftsmanship and dedication to excellence. Embark on a journey of flavor discovery and savor the unique charm of Villa Sarchí – a testament to Costa Rica's rich coffee heritage.
